Fremantle Prison *~Cup Cake Break Out~*

These cup cakes looked AWESOME set up in the main cell of Fremantle Prison! This bride had an elegant cake to go along with her elegant (scary) reception. There was just over 60 cup cake half in chocolate fudge and the other half in vanilla fudge with white icing. Each cup cake had a beautiful black satin bow on the front. Top tier and the cup cake stand were decorated in fresh white roses and Singapore orchids! I would like to wish the couple all the very best for the future and I hope that they all had a good night in the main cell!



I will be completely honest with you all... When the function coordinator left me on my own in the main cell to set up the cup cakes I was so scared that something was going to appear and scare the jippers out of me! BUT it would have to be the best place so far that I have been to in regards to wedding receptions! hehe

Sweet Bake Off Cake Master Piece...

Sunday the 16Th of may was the "Sweet Bake Off" held at the Court Hotel in Perth. Unfortunately I didn't make it there in time to enter my cake due to a sad family passing.



I dedicate this "Mad Hatter" to my beautiful Nanna Mitchison (Annabella Mitchison) as I know she would have been a little disappointed in me not making it there BUT proud of the cake I did make!



The theme of the day was "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" so I carved the hat and layered the chocolate fudge cake with a rich dark chocolate ganache and iced it in RTR.

Emily had a cup cake tower of about 70 cupcakes decorated in lilac butter cream with small cute lilac roses and some with small silver cashous!

Hope her and her birthday guests enjoyed the Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Bean cup cakes!

Mad Hatter's Tea Party "SWEET BAKE OFF"

I am so excited to be entering in a cake competition! It has been over two years since I have made a show piece!

This years "Sweet Bake Off" held at The Court on Sunday the 16Th of May has an AWESOME theme which is "Mad Hatter's Tea Party"

I am a HUGE fan of Tim Burton and I have decided to make my show piece along the lines of his recent move "Alice in Wonderland". I won't give too much away but here is a picture that I love and will be using for inspiration!



I will keep you all posted on my progress!
